Pretty good day for the Heat teams.

Heat Showcase Roster

Both teams were short this weekend due to illness. The 09's had 9 players and the 08's pulled one 09 up to have 10 players, I believe. Lot's of sickness... The coaches have stuck with this bunch this fall and they have become fun teams to watch. I probably should have quit a long time ago!! I know a few details but will probably slight someone so I will leave that to others who were there at all the games.

CATAMOUNT: One of your 09's started the game against the Dirtbags and pitched very well I heard. Your other Heat player starts in the morning I believe.

I have been asked to never return to the 09's games. It seems I am BAD luck! hahaha

The games today went as follows:

Again, both Heat teams were a little short handed, with the 08's battling sickness and bringing up an 09.

Beautiful day for baseball. The Heat teams will be at Lenoir Rhyne next week.

Coach - Dustin Myers started and went 4 innings pitching very well. I can't remember if he gave up any earned runs or not but I don't think he did. Blaze Tart, Adam Griffin and Zach MacAnaney pitched for the Dirtbags. Blaze Tart got the loss. Dustin got the win but both Dustin and Adam pitched very well!
