OK I talked to Coach Partin

There is no secret here. There is no conspiracy theory. Coach Partin said he had talked to college coaches and professional scouts and he was going to invite the top 08 and 09 players from across the entire state based on what he has seen and the coaches and scouts opinion on players are. You do not have to play for Impact to get invited. The invitation to play will be extended to the top players period.

Players invited will have to notify Coach Partin if they do not intend on playing and then additional invites will go out to fill those spots. It is his intention to get the top players regardless of where they are from (NC) and what teams they play on. There will be no fee to play in this game.

If there are any more questions please feel free to email Coach Partin Im sure he will be glad to answer them.

 

I was fine with AP's response. I was just throwing out a hi there. I think a lot of people see the Dirtbags as a direct extention of Impact. AP responded with the info I asked for. My question was not to draw out anything more than what I asked. Sorry if misunderstood.

I don't know anything about this event. I was referring to everyone's showcase team and the lack of responses. I was discussing the thread title. I could care less who attends some event. I've got no dog in that one.

 

Why is everyone so sensitive today..? Sheesh.. Most of us are coaches and or have coached.. Have a little fun!! In 5 or 10 years none of this will matter anyway.. Not to us at least.

My daughter called me today to tell me some guy called wanting my 6 year old grandson to play on his 6U team!! Holy crap! I thought everyone was kidding about the young teams.

Note to self: He CAN hit bombs!

And YES, I know the hand shake.. hahaha

 

It is Tuesday. Knowing that. Play him up to the 8U. I'm sure that would get them talking.

 

I just asked about the process. Was new on website. Emailed and got what I needed. No prob here.
