I will give this a try

North Davidson - They are going to be very very good. Again.
Ragsdale - They are going to be very very good. Again.
Rocky Mount - They are going to be very very good. Again.
Mount Tabor - They are going to be very very good. Again.
    A. Kell - Making some real noise this year.

The Coach 27 poll does not distinguish between 1A - 4A. My rankings do not have classifications. The top 10 is simply based on the top 10 teams.

Who is in the top 10? I have no idea. But thats a pretty good start right there. imo

I believe that South Granville(3A) will continue to be one of the top teams in the state regardless of classification. They have a great group of talented players and a wonderful coaching staff. The competitor in me misses playing these guys, but the won-loss record on the other hand does not.

And no, this post was not sponsored by Coach 27...haha.

    Thanks Coach

But the fact is imo this is your year at Roanoke Rapids. You have at least two stud arms in Deloach LHP and Dixon RHP and an experienced squad around these guys. My prediction is a #1 spot in the NC Carolinas 2-A conference and a deep run in the playoffs. I was talking to a couple of coaches the other day and both of them said the same thing. The Yellow Jackets are going to be a front runner in the 2-A East this year. Good luck it should be a great season.

Sanderson will have another good year this year. Although they lost their ace, Alex Davis and starting second baseman, Kevin Elkins, they are returning everyone else. With senior Mark Peterson (P), Cap-7 first team 1st baseman Chalres Wolfe, senior third baseman Eric Brommer, Junior SS Kyle Wigmore and Junior C Max Gagnon this team will be right there in the state playoff runnings!!!

You can count on some of the raleigh area teams to show up. The cap 7 has a lot of players coming back from some very good teams. Sanderson only lost 3-4 seniors off of last years squad. Leesville lost some key players from last years team but they still have that fire power. The question behind leesville will be their pitching behind Steinbuglar, but those boys can deffinately put up some runs. Millbrook lost 4 seniors from last years squad and still has the core of their pitching staff from last year. I would look for them to be present in the cap 7 race. The real question for them will be their hitting. Broughton comes back with a lot of talent and will also be in that race for the conference. Wake Forest Rolesville has their big 2-way guy in Mac Williamson. Besides Mac and Taylor Gleason I don't know what to expect from them. We'll just have to wait and see. Wakefield brings back Brian Yeung and Jeremy Dowdy anchoring the offense. Behind Dowdy and Yeung with the help of Brice Hursey and Clayton Daniels they can do some damage in the Cap 7. It will be fun to sit back and watch how things play out in this Conference.
