Those posters are flamers. It's impossible to filter them, but easy to get rid of.

Believe me, the standards we set in here are such that some people may find too rigid or restrictive, but the purpose has always been for the reason that you gave.

Yep, Tharan000 usually haunts a handful of other forums but must be getting bored arguing with Christians about evolution vs creation, or trying to convince others that Pres. Bush is the modern day satan. Besides banning, there's not much you can do for lost miserable souls like him except say a prayer. His posts are usually infuriating and offensive, seems like he's just craving attention.

Ron Plemmons knows the game very well, & has a solid bunch of young ladies. Will be hearing alot from them in the future. Would help his bunch if he would play more ASA vs NSA. Better Competition will help better team.

the occasional drive by from R & R is ok as long as you understand that our forum is targeted at the 10-16yr old group of girls. actually, some of the best humor on this forum has come from the occasional drive by. but what has happened this week was in really poor taste and quite offensive to all.

    they have...

I have seen them at some of the ASA tourneys this year. They have done well there too. I also saw them this past weekend at Salisbury battling against the 18U teams. They finished up with a 4-1 record. What an amazing job for a first year 14U team!!!!

I understand that the Attitudes will be playing some ASA and NSA showcase tournaments next season. Its not about ASA vs. NSA. Its about taking these girls to the next level and preparing for their future in college softball. The tournaments of choice have been because of the amount of college coaches and scouts scheduled to be there watching the games. It's never too early for them to be seen. At this stage in the game, its not about bringing home the hardware. It's simply about showing the college coaches and scouts how much they have accomplished as individual players and as team players on and off the field.

These girls have worked very hard over the years and have truely been a joy to watch. Thanks to the coaches, players, and parents!

    ASA

Got to agree with Nut on the ASA vs NSA. ASA Showcases are where your major colleges will be. They know comp level is better. I know of other teams that went straight from 14u to 18u and were very successful. If your girls are ready go for it !! Sounds like they are. You can pick up your hardware at the qualifiers !
