What is a "tiebreaker" in a bracket play game? Did it go to penalty kicks?

Tie Breaker = last three batters from previous inning is put on base with one out.

In our first playoff game(Rd of 32), we went to the tie breaker after seven innings. They put the three runners on base and Zack White was the pitcher and he produced a ground ball to Tyler Hanover for a 4-6-3DP to end the inning.
So at the bottom of the inning with the bases loaded, Brian Litwin came to the bat and on the first pitch drove a laser bomb to the centerfielder to plate the go ahead run.
In the 2nd playoff game (Rd of 16), we only played six innings. The two hour time limit was up. So, with the bases loaded, the Tristate team batter hit a ball into the gap to plate two runs. They went up 5-3. We came to bat, and the first batter, hit a high ball to Left field for a F7 2nd out, then Hanover drew a walk to make the score 5-4. Then Levi Michael hit a hard shot to the third baseman that made a good play on the ball to get the force out at 3B to end the game.

 

The OnDeck Os were eliminated in the round of 32 by the Tidewater White Sox. The White Sox then had the Braves Scout Team, one of the tourney favorites on the ropes 3-2 going into the final inning before falling 6-3. The White Sox roster lists about 8 kids from NC. It was a pretty good showing by all teams from NC, and teams which contained NC players. Jimmy Messer played with the Braves Scout team.

 

Is it safe to say that this Orlando Scorpion team is turning Jupiter upside down? They just made the finals by beating EC Astros, one of the tourney favorites. I looked at their roster and its pretty clear that this isn't a team brought in from al over the country for this one tourney. Nice to see, IMHO>

 

Honestly, that was one of the things I liked best. We had a little team of just Charlottte players and we went down there and whupped up on those National teams. It let you know very quickly that your players could compete at that level.

Our boys - all of them - from all of our NC teams - played just like I expected.

They played hard - they showed their exceptional talents - and they also once again showed they can play with any team from anywhere - and they did it with an approach that all of us should be proud of.

I watched our last game - sitting in a cart with Jerry Ford - the entire game.

I was proud to watch the game with him and watch our NC players.

I think we should all be very proud of the young men that represent NC.
