frmtitangreat, you said eric would not get 50 yards against acr, eric 200 yards and 2td i think our qb adam had more than 50 rards rushing. where is all the acr people that was on here all week talking trash, that we would lose by 21 and all that stuff, two in a row against acr the only nw4a team that can say that.if both teams win out in the playoffs we will see you again in boone

not if ACR draws the higher seed. Remember, you guys are only tied for the championship. And I know this is hard for you Watauga folks to understand, but reynolds fans do not hide after a loss.

btw, the radio guys said the watauga crowd was less than impressive. What was up? Were they expecting a loss?

Ah but we got the one seed, and we BEAT ACR (the last 2 meetings), we took a team scheduled for homecomings every year and won the league. EB rushed for 200 yards on ACR. Our O put up 400 yards against that Rocket D. That game IS be something to celebrate (and would be for any team that is not ACR)

You will not get the higher seed with the same record as us, head to head loss to us and with us drawing the #1 seed out of the tri-championship.

why would you get the #1 seed over east burke? It is a 3-way tie so all three teams have an equal chance at getting the number 1 seed in the draw. It is my understanding that the draw has not occured yet

About the crowd, I was disappointed with both crowds. With a conference championship on the line I was expecting a packed house. I was very surprised withthe ACR crowd because I thought they'd fill up the visitor side. And we didn't have as many last night as we've had in other games this year. It's time for our crowd to wake up. Our crowds haven't been as loud this year as they were last year. We need to get the crowd going better in the playoffs.

As for the game, I think Watauga jumping out early took the wind out of ACR. When teams come in with a lot of emotion and something happens quickly like Eric's TD run, followed up by who knows how many offside penalties on ACR, it can take the air out of the balloon very quickly. Great job by Watauga coming in with a good game plan. I think that's what happened last night. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs and hopefully we'll see a rematch late in the playoffs.

Well done Watauga. The only suprise to me was how bad you beat them (the win was not an upset - make no mistake about that). Good Luck in the playoffs.

I think ACR's first TD (that got called back), not scoring on that drive really hurt the Rockets even more than Watauga scoring
