    Diamonds in the rough

Okay Marlinfan1 I did graduate from H.S. but never was great at typing. This is new to me and I tried to edit the post but I screwed that up as well HELP? But I laughed at myself too. They have played a couple fall tour. with 16u Dirt Dobbers, but would like to keep playing. Thankyou for the welcome, God Bless.

    "Diamonds in the Rough"

I wanted to wait until we played our final tourney before commenting on the new additions or "diamonds" if you will for the NC Sun Devils 18U. The kids played great over the last few tournaments and the team is really looking forward to next year.

We've got the triple towers on the mound

    5'11 Taylor Morris(2009)
    5'11 Morgan Lunsford (2009)
    5'10 Jennifer Rosene (2010)

2009's Utl. Tara Hajer , OF- Jasmine Conley, 1B/OF- Jessica Fellmeth,
    SS- Amanda McArthur

2010's- 2B- Chaney Watson, OF- Carmin Schelling, C- Megan Soots, IF- Kelsey Burgess.

The 2009's are already getting great looks by the colleges, they are doing a very good job contacting the schools of their choice. The 2010's are great and will be on a lot of lists and be watched as their time comes. Thanks to all of our parents, this group is great!

    Diamond in the rough

I agree NDSB10--Tess is a definitely a diamond, as a player and a person. Too bad her school coaches don't fully utilize her. I'm sure some other schools would love to have her on their rosters. Keep pluggin Tess!

What are you smoking???? Central coaches are now supposed to sit Chelsea Leonard, the best pitcher in the state?? Tess is very good no doubt but not in the same class as Chelsea. Maybe in time. Also, the coaches get her on the rubber as much as possible and she even pitched in the states. Unfortunatly for her that Chels is at the same school. But don't say that the coaches don't fully uttilize her cause you are way off.

    Tara Hajer

Tara Hajer is going to get a lot of well deserved attention! She's been coached by Monte Sherrill, Thad Fox, Rodney Threat and Charlie Blackwelder. She's enjoyed success on the previously #1 ranked Central Cabarrus team and went to the 18 A Nationals in Texas with the Lady Blues. She has a great understanding of the game and how to win. She's beginning to slap from the left side and is always smiling! Thad's got a diamond in the rough for sure in this kid.

    09's + 1 2010....

....Now that I've got your attention, 09s Chelsea Leonard, Olivia Peavey, and McKenzie Creech 2010, as pitchers on the same team........?
