Ashley "Pudge" Fowler commits to CSU!

    Ashley "Pudge" Fowler has accepted an offer and verbally committed to Charleston Southern University and coach Aumend. Coach Aumend is getting a versatile player who should step in and make a difference very quickly. Pudge has the quickest release from SS or Catcher that I have ever seen. Her arm is powerful and accurate and she hits the ball hard and often. Ashley will be a 2008 graduate of West Johnston High School and a member of the NC Dominators Gold travel ball team. We are proud of you!!!

    I know Big Daddy and Caprice are ready for a big time at Myrtle Beach this weekend...We will see you there!

    I was telling Marlinfan the other day how exciting it is seeing these kids growing up from 10U to collegiate ball...it has been fun being part of their lives !!!

    Proud and Happy....

    ....for ya girl! You have been like one of mine since I've known you. Wow how time flies by us, it seems like yesterday seeing you, AD, KE, LW, CP, JJ, etc. and coach schott! You've earned everypart of softball props by being who you are! A fine young lady who WE think the world of! Big Daddy and Caprice have been ICONS in the travel ball circuit as long as I can remember, I'm proud of them too. Thanks to the Fowlers!!

    Pudge, couldn't be prouder of you. Really enjoyed getting to know you this Summer. AB sends her congratulations, too. You two have made a pretty good combination up the middle.

    I am truly grateful for everyone we've met during the last 9 years - we wouldn't be at this point without you - coaches, teammates and parents. Thank you for your support and dedication - I am really going to miss this! :cry:
