    Plate Dad - very true.

    But - I still wonder.

I have seen all of the players from this area - in the spring - the summer and the fall. For the last 4 years. Against varying levels of competition - with wood and aluminum.

I have been fortunate enough to be able to have the time to watch all of these great kids from our area for quite some time now. And with no connection to any of them. Just watching them all - very closely.

And I still have to ask myself the same questions.

I (and my family) have been deeply involved with baseball my entire life - and still am - and I just dont get it.

I have less faith in the process than ever before.

Just being honest. I will shut up now.

Innie- as an old pro in how this works, you have a better understanding than most. There continues to be amazement at the recuiting process. I have often times shook my head in disbelief. I gave up trying to figure it out, but I have learned one thing. When it comes to a recruit, I am rarely wrong in my opinion :13:..well, maybe sometimes...okay most of the time, but I can say this with certainty. There are times a recruiter sees something in a player that had I watched for 10 years, I would never see...and 10 years after, I still wouldn't. But it's their job on the line, not mine.

I doubt very seriously that Aaron Plummer will be available much longer......plus, it's still very, very early in the recruiting process....the mid-level D1 and DII are just warming up, plus the major schools will be coming back around again.

It's a comb-over that wraps around two times.

Braves, since we will be sharing the grandstands this summer, perhaps I will share some of Coach E's magic hair tonic. Supposedly, it works wonders, just look at Coach E.
Dont be shy, I too suffer from comb over disease.

    Mark Peterson (RHP/Sanderson HS)

    5-3 Last year 47.1IP, 42 K's, 2.13 ERA
Fastball consitantly 87-89 with movement, Changeup needs work, but Curveball is good. He's a competitor and is one of the best RHP in the area. Also hit 92 this fall......at least we know whats in him!
