Take a look at the thread at the top. Belmont Abbey Prospect Camp.

Constantly we have threads about: How do you get seen or noticed by college coaches. What level can I play at. Top unsigned seniors. Why has so and so not signed. ON and on we go.

Please if you are a player or a parent of a player and you want to play in college what is your excuse if you do not attend this event?

We have some players that have expressed a desire to play at the next level. I have given them this information. I honestly dont want to hear another word from them if they do not attend.

This is an awesome opportunity to see where you stack up and show what you can do. It is down right cheap. If you have not signed yet and you want to play you need to go. JMHO

My son's best sport may be baseball but he hasn't picked up a bat, ball, or glove since around July. He is also a pretty good football player and his team in the post season. I would like for him to attend this camp but I worry that he may be a little rusty. Should we think twice about this or can the experts see through the rust? Could it hurt him.

    They understand

The coaches understand that many kids have been playing football and are going to be a little rusty. This is to be expected. What they want to see is guys come out there that want to play at the next level. These coaches can see through the rust so to speak. I can not see how it would hurt him. I hope you make it out. Good luck

I could not agree more with the comments made from Coach27.

I wish people could understand my sincerity when I ask... How can you not come to this showcase? If you are talented and have not signed, this is a must.

If, for some reason, you can not afford to go, or do not have a ride to get there, please reply back to me in private. I don't care if you live in Nags Head, Wilmington, Franklin, Mt Airy or any schools in-between, if you can't get there and you have a strong desire to be there, we will get you there.

I live in the Raleigh Durham area

If you need a ride PM me. If you really want to go and you can not afford the 40.00 pm me. There is no reason a young man that wants to play at the next level should miss this event. I will not mention a word to anyone that PM's me. I wish these kinds of events were around when I was playing. I might not have been good enough but at least I would have known.
