The NCFSCA would like to invite All coaches to attend our free clinic on Saturday, January 26th at North Davidson Senior High School. This clinic will give coaches from around the State the opportunity to hear from other high school coaches on what seems to work best for their programs. These are the people who work with the same age group that you do at the high school level and understand the complexities of being a high school coach. Everyone is welcome to attend. Middle school, High school, Travel ball and friends of the game. Please go to the website: www.ncfastpitch.org to see all the details and times. There is a printable flyer on the website that you may download and share with others. You do not need to be a member of the NCFSCA in any way to attend this clinic. We want you to come and be our guests for the day and maybe pick up a few things along the way that you can use in your program. Some of the clinic speakers include, Mike Lambros from North Davidson, Monte Sherrill from Alexander Central, Gene Poindexter from Central Davidson, and Wayne Deans from DH Conley to name a few. We look forward to seeing you there and if you have any questions, you can PM me at TBR or email me directly at [email protected]. Hope to see you in January!

    Thank you,

    Eddie "Pop" Rivers
    President/NCFSCA

    Thanks....

    Pop,
Thanks so much for this opportunity. We always look for opportunities for our kids to improve, how about us as coaches? Are we doing all we can to get the most current info out there and give our kids their best chances to get better?

I will be talking to all of the travel coaches...will be a great opportunity to learn and meet others.

    See you there....

    OK

Travel Coaches, this is an opportunity to meet and greet many of the HS coaches that we need to get to know better so we can help our kids year round. All these guys want to do the right thing and I am sure would love to get to know all of us and enjoy some war stories concerning our coaching experiences. I am certainly going to attend and rub shoulders with this great group of men dedicated to helping young ladies enjoy the game of softball!

Hey don't complain about the HS coach did this or the high school coach did that if U do not attend and get to know the guy! Heck he might know more about the particular player than we do! This will be a great time to make new friends, learn from some great softball minds and coaches, and to bring us all together for a common goal, the betterment of youth softball and the girls that play!

    See U there! LOL :seeya:

    Everyone!!

What a wonderful opportunity for any coach of any age or organization. You have got to take advantage of this, I'll be there helping in anyway I'm needed.
As coaches, we look to make ourselves better when we can by going to clinics and such, what a better way than learning from some of our excellent high school coaches.. This will be a great day for all! I'm looking forward to learning from Gene on how to make your field better inexpensively...!!

Thanks to all who put this together..Tell your friends.!:gossip:

    Hello Friends !!!

I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to encourage all coaches to support the NCFSCA, because of its involvement in todays youth, and a helpful guide that is oulined to promote our kids to a higher level of play. This past summer I had the opportunity to meet Pop Rivers @ Rock Hill during our TBR Members Outing, and I will say without any reservation that he is a very knowledgeable individual on the trends of high school and travel ball softball in the eastern USA. He is up to date on the Do's and Don'ts in our state and surrounding states....IE...metal cleat issues, umpiring, legalities of coaches, just to mention a few, also he can best explain what is legit in the managing of your team affairs to best benefit the program that you are part of in your county. Also there maybe questions that you have been dying to ask, he is the professional in this sport, and gives an attentive ear to every question with vigor to get you on the right path....so please come out and support the NCFSCA in it's maiden voyage where high school / travel ball coaches alike can come away with answers that they have been wanting to find out in this great game of softball... endorsed by the GURU

The Guru and i agree...yet again

Alright boys and girls. Time to step up to the plate (pun intended). Support the NCFSCA. You DO NOT have to be a high school coach to sign up. Contact Pop, become an associate member (i did). And by all means if you are involved in coaching, go to this clinic. If you want to know it all this is the place to begin or continue your journey, and if you already do know it all show up and share in your wisdom. Lambros, Sherrill, Poindexter, sounds like a whose who of softball in NC. :bowdown2: So put your money and your pride where your mouth is , stand up, sign up, and come participate. :189:
