    Thankful

I want to also thank all the brave men and women in our Military over seas and at home for everything they do. If it weren't for them we would not be able to do the things that we enjoy doing. We are the greatest country in the world. Thanks to all my family for everything they do also and most of all thank God, without him nothing is possible.

I have a son in the Military (he's at Ft. Bragg) and alot of his friends right now are in harms way fighting. Please keep all of them in your prayers everyday.

Thanks for the greatest game of all-Fastpitch Softball

    My

How silly I was to forget my new son-in-law is headed back to Iraq for a second time in less than a year next month. We will not get to see him or my daughter as they are stationed in San Diego and my daughter can not get time off from her job for the holidays! This daughter is my first child and the first time she has not been within a short driving distance. Anyway let's all pray for our armed forces all over the earth and give our family and friends a special hug everytime we can.

    Wish him the best

Be praying for him and all.

You know we should always thank a soldier anywhere we see them by either shaking his or her hand or clapping for them. I try to do this anytime I see them.

Thank God my son has not been to Iraq yet. He has a shoulder injury from jumping out of planes (which he loves doing). He might be going Dec. or Jan. That's where he wants to be. He really believe's with his heart we are doing the right thing.

    Got an email today....

I got an email today that I thought would be a great idea, so I am sharing it!

When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it
to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think
of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed
    so much would get.

When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please
    include the following:

    A Recovering American soldier
    c/o WalterReedArmyMedicalCenter

    6900
    Georgia Avenue,NW
    Washington,D.C.20307-5001
May each and every person who sees this send a card to say Thank you!

    THANKFUL

I'm Thankful for so much, and it is only possible because of the good Lord above. I'll try to hit some of the high spots.
    1. I thank God for my wife and both children. My Wife for putting up with me during the past 28+ years of marriage. She has had her own struggles of late with a disastrously botched surgery last December that kept her on her back and out of work for 3 months. My son although now grown and an adult, is attempting to finish up College this coming year. He has made the Deans list a few times, and while that is not an amazing accomplishment it is huge for him with his learning disability. I'm also thankful for my son's soon to be Fiance'. She is the perfect soul-mate for him. My DD for just being with us. My wife lost several pregnancies during the 9 years after my son's birth. We thought we were going to lose my soon to be DD in September of 93, we were out of town in Michigan and my wife started hemorrhaging. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, where she remained hospitalized for a few days. We finally made the 15 hour trek home and within a week she started hemorrhaging again. My wife was hospiatlized and bed-ridden for weeks until my DD was born 6 weeks premature. We actually changed the name we had planned to give her because of our struggle to get her into this world. We chose Victoria for our victory in child birth.
    2. I'm thankful for god giving me the opportunity to meet and work with these young ladies over the past several years on the ballfields. It has changed my life forever.
    3. I am so very thankful for the men and women that have given us our freedom and continue to protect it everyday. We live in the best place on Earth!
    4. I'm thankful for one of my parents on the team telling me about TBR. It truly does Rock!!
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this forum!
