    I haven't been on the football boards in a while...good luck to the Cavaliers friday night,. there will be a "big" group of McDowell fans coming your way friday night.

    I'll be making the trip back to Icard to see the game. Dad is picking up some tickets between 9-noon on Friday at the stadium so you can get your tickets before the game and bypass the lines.

    I suggest getting there early so you can get a good parking spot. They are also selling tickets at Jack B Quick in Valdese.

    Looking forward to coming back, I've only been to two or three games since I graduated in 2000. Go Cavs!

    Howdy Cavaliers! I'll be making the trip Friday to cover the game. I've covered playoff basketball in Icard before, but I'm really looking forward to shooting this game. Is there a good place to park a big ole' television truck? Oh, and where exactly is that BBQ place in Valdese. I think I'm gonna eat there unless someone knows if the stadium food is real good.

    You should be able to park near the field house. Butch's BBQ is right off Main Street. Turn North at the light at the One Stop convience store. Butch's will be on your left. The food at the stadium is great.

    Thanks a ton, oldebfan. I'll love BBQ, but I reckon I'll eat at the stadium so support the fine folks of Icard. I can't stick around too long, I have to shoot the Hickory game, too. What's that, about a 20 minute trip?
