Mount Tabor vs. Watauga....(Semi Finals)....

That is the understatement of the millenium. We are doing all of this with just one player. A Central Cabarus coach said that we had no talent. A Swett poster was kind enough to say that we would be .500 without Eric. I think we might have beaten Ashe and Avery but that is all. I heard Watauga had to ban chewing gum from practice because of so many players tripping over each other. Oh well, the honeymoon is over. Mount Tabor is going to come in here, suspended player or not, and roll all over us. If I were them, I would stick 11 in the box and just stop the run. Needn't worry about anyone else. As a matter of fact, they should kill two birds with one stone and start watching Hoggard tape. No offense to Southern Durham. Next year we will take our rightful spot as the doormat of the NW4A. My talentless son will at least be able to say that he was part (evidently a very small part) of two very special years.

 

Indy: Are you being sarcastic or just a dumb @#$ ? We do have several of those in Watauga County. Congrats to Snow and ALL the boys. Make us proud.

 

What is Tabor's record? When I went there we were the laughing stock of the conference (89-93)

Emo...don't tell anyone who I am. If things turn south for Watauga, I plan on bad mouthing the coaching staff for how they use my kid and I want to do it anonymously. I'm just teasing. Baseball is just around the corner. Good luck in basketball.

 

Mount Tabor is 11-3 with the 3 losses coming in the middle of the year when they had alot of injuries. They seem to be healthy now and playing some really good football. Watauga may be the best team they have played this year and Watauga is very well coached with a very specialplayer in #2. Watauga has been living off of turnovers and playing real well at home. This should be a great game between two very good football teams. Can MT Contain EB because he is going to get his yards? They have to not give up the big play and make some plays with the athletes they have. This will be the best back and most disciplined team Tabor has played to this point. I say this game will be decided within a touchdown either way. Tabor is making its first road trip out of Winston since week 1 and they will have to handle the ride and preparing for the cold and windy weather in Boone. This will be an exciting game and I am looking forward to it. My final score is the first one to 28 wins and the other will have 21 or 24.

 

Who is the coach at Tabor now? Either my senior year or the year after Sapp (sp?) started and turned it around. I thought he left and then came back at some point.

 

I always give this warning late in the season when a team is heading to Boone. Take a seat cushion or a blanket, those metal bleachers are cold on the arse.

 

We need everyones support Friday. If you are in the NW4A please come out and support the Pioneers. Last year we had over 8,000 people at the West Charlotte game. We need everyone to come, sit with Watauga and be loud!!!
