In all do respect, it kind of showed how Watauga did when Eric was shut down with the run until he broke out in the 4th quarter. It was like a re-run of last years final four game.

HOWEVER...great couple of seasons for Watauga and the leadership of EB in his career was outstanding. There is no telling how many records he broke in his 4 years. And the surrounding cast did great to help them get this far. Snow brought some life back in high school football in Boone. Its a shame they couldnt get to the Championship game.

Good luck to Mt Tabor. Yall deserved it. Beat Hoggard!

Doubt that seriously Meangreen, we got a deep group of recievers, a couple of good runners (no EB's but they will get the job done) a good QB coming up from the JV's (one who even played some Varsity LB) Don't think it will be a final four again, but a good team, yes.
Congratulations to all the pioneer seniors on two wonderful seasons!
Good luck Tabor in the championship!

Congrats Watauga on a great season. Your program is a class act and the crowd was very good. Mount Tabor looked very good last night and will have to play its best game of the year to beat a very good Hoggard team. There seemed to be just too much speed from Tabor with Furr and company. The QB played very well again and it should be a bigtime showdown next Saturday at 3:00 at Groves Stadium for the state title. Again Eric Breitenstein and the TEAM you had a GREAT career and good luck to you and the Pioneers in the years to come.
