2009 Conference Realignment Coming

Im sorry, i posted that and didnt go back and really read it to make sure i typed what i was thinking.

9 teams in a conference is too many, a suitable make up is 6 or 7 teams and it gives the opportunity for more non conference games.


AC could be in a league with Lake Norman and Mooresville, St Stephens, Hickory and Foard

thats 6 teams, 3-3A 3-4A...

the split league system IMO isnt a good system b/c you have too much separation is talent availibility......3A schools will have 1100 students and 4A schools will have minimum 1500 and in some cases 1700.....I dont know im just not a fan of it myself.

 

i just think if you are 4a then play teams that are 4a in a conference,we have avery and ashe what does having st stevens and fred t foard in the conference with whs,achs and south caldwell do, but makes it a weak conference just what i beleave.

 

weak at what sport? It would maybe be the best baseball conference in the state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I really think that the league will be very good at every sport. In football Hickory will be very competative with the 4A teams and St Stephens looks to be headed in a positive direction. Hibriten will be good on a consistant basis. Foard will perhaps struggle but the new Patton school could be a wild card IMO. In baseball, the league will be an outright monster.

 

for football,i just dont like it ,like in the playoffs should a 4a team get a #1 or a high seed when you have only 2-3 4a teams in your conference , and other teams have to play 5-7 games in there conference.i dont think thats the way to go.when we would have only play two games against 4a teams and the rest 3a teams
