South Caldwell beat Hibriten tonight by 50 points. I think the final was 83-33.
SC scored 56 points in the first half. These girls are for real. Probablly the most talent of any team in the conference this year only problem is they are SO young. I'm sure this will hurt them when they play a team like Mcdowell. I think they will do fine against the rest of the conference though. could be fun watching all the freshmen and sophmores grow this year.

BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...Wrong answer jarrettfan. For half the points you can try again...

In the case of the Lady Titans not a single starter played over 12 minutes of playing time. They played full blast for about 5 minutes in both the 1st and 2nd quarters and then took the rest of the night off. Coach Franklin had our 2nd string point guard walking it up the court in the 4th quarter it was so bad.

Bigdan,I didn't get the individual scoring totals did you. How many did currie have? I do remember coach Franklin calling our little sophmore point guard over to him in the 4th quater and telling her to slow it down. These people want to get on here and knock a team for running up a score but I beg to differ. As a coach you have to run your offence and defence to find their faults and correct them. In McDowells case they have a Good TC Roberson team coming to town Tuesday and Coach Franklin done his job by letting his starters play all out for short periods of time and then putting in his reserves. I believe we had a lot of players score points but coach Franklin could have left Washington in much longer letting her run up maybe 40 points to bump up her scoring average. But he didn't .

Same thing here with us, a little full court press early and then half court man and zone defense. That's a Alexander softball fan, so we'll see what they have to say this year about large scoring differences when spring comes and they are pounding everyone.
Every kid(13-1 was injured) played in every quarter for us and all scored, have to remember that this was the first game ever between Patton and Freedom...

What do you tell a bench player when the score is 91-20 with about four minutes to go? Just pass it around? No, you want them to give good minutes from all areas of play to include scoring, passing, defense, and other intangibles.

I think in these situations you look at people who dont normally score and see what they can do. Personally, I was very impressed with the play of of Kristin Mauney and Molly Brooks. Even in garbage time, they showed alot of poise and toughness, and were the catalysts of the Lady Titan offense in the times the starters weren't on the floor.

trust me last night could have been worse.in the 2nd the starters may have played 3 minutes at the most. the majority of our scoring came from our reserves in the 2nd half and they just did what is asked of them and thats play hard and u cant tell a player not to shoot the ball.

The same can be said about McDowell and we were playing against an established program from Burns. It will be a different story Tuesday though. The Lady Titans will have to play their best at the Titan Dome when Roberson comes to town.
