REALIGNMENT PROPOSAL 2009-13

Maybe that could be brought up at the next meeting. I would like to see Mcdowell stay in the NW4A. Especially for girls bball. Could be some good games with what we have over the next several years and add in an always powerful Hickory and Foard which will be in our conference the girls games will be fun to watch. Back in the late 90's nothing could comapre to Hickory and SC in girls Basketball. The gyms were packed as two of the best in the state went at it twice a year. It would be safer for Mcdowell to travel down the mountain rather than going up

rosman high school in the smoky mtn west conference averages 180 miles round trip for their conference games thru the mts
a little trip up the big hill is nothing

i remember many nights after a murphy game getting home at midnight

 

Hey Rosman is so far out in the boonies what other option do they have. McDowell falls in the populated foothills where we have many schools in every direction to play. It really doesn't matter to me what they do,I'll support my team where ever they play.
