OK it almost January and time for me at least to start think about the upcoming season. Let's hear some thoughts on how they will stack up in the best baseball conference in the state the good ol NW4A

From what I think I know nearly every team will be drastically different from last year. Some will have a few starters back but a lot of the big guns are gone. SC, Reynolds and Alexander lost some of the biggest players and wondering who will take their place.
I know SC still has Messer and Chavis. That is a pretty good pair to build a team around. With the program here there are many who are capable of filling the holes left by graduation. We have 2 guys who threw some last year that could help out in the rotation plus there is talk of a couple unknowns that haven't played at SC before that may move into the no. 2 spot. Last years offense was a high powered, long ball team. This year look for more speed and small ball. I know I'm a little biased but look for SC to be at the top of the conference again this year and with all the young talent who some say is our best freshman class ever I don't see us falling down anytime soon. Let's hear about some of the rest

Don't forget about the Cody's (squared)...Penny and Poarch. I suspect they will bring alot to the pitching staff.

Watauga will have a very well coached team with Coach Hardee in charge. They were a young team last year and they are always competetive year in and year out. I believe SC will still be the team to beat with Messer and company.

sc will always be good. they have good coaches and good people around the kids that develop them from little leagues up. i would say until someone knocks them off the mtn they will be the team to beat.
