Fuquay and Middle Creek will be strong again this year. Fuquay has 2 solid pitchers as does Middle Creek. If West Johnson can get by Fuquay they should go to the creek...West Johnson is loaded, but they were loaded last year too. On paper West Johnson looks to be the team to beat in the east.

Enka will have another strong team this year. They will also have a new coach, so we will see how it goes.

    WJ

yes, no seniors last year for WJ and they lost in playoffs to Fuquay-Varina who I think had only 1 senior starter. So on paper those 2 teams should be fairly equal. WJ will have at least one freshman that will push upperclassmen for a spot in lineup.

WJ's been waiting for this season with that senior class.

    West Johnston will....

....rock! I've been part of coaching staffs in TB who had the pleasure of working with this class from WJ. Who's the new kid coming into this stout lineup? PM me if need be.

    3A West

Look for Fred T Foard (3A)to make some noise. Bandys(2A) will be young but strong. Mike always does a great job with his girls. Lots of young talent coming up for the Trojans. I hear West Iredell will have a solid team also.

Crazecoach- don't forget St. Stephens. They will be tough to beat in the conference. With Julia pitching, they will be in every game.

    I'm sorry

I'm sorry, I forgot she played for them. I thought she transfered schools, but it was just travel ball. St. Stephens has a ton of great talent that Joe has worked so hard with over the years. FTF and SS should dominate the conference and it will come down to who has less errors.

If your talking state champions from last year, that was Central Davidson and they only lost 3 seniors. Truth is they should be stronger this year, however, the conference is stronger this year, also. East Davidson and Ledford will be a tough test for the Spartans and West Davidson will be improved.
