petey went off in this game scoring 38 points with 6 or 7 dunks. he played the entire 4th quarter with 4 fouls. best play of the tournament was at the end of the first half when buggy was bringing up the ball on a fastbreak and went with a behind the back pass to petey who went in for the two handed monster slam.
watch out for anthony stitt for butler in the upcoming years. he is just a freshman, but expect huge numbers for him in the future.

    Glaxo Day 2

just got back from another great night of hoops at the GlaxoSmithKline tourney. Word of God, a Christian School based in the Triangle, beat Taft (CA) by three points in a great game. Tonight's game had a huge ACC following...on one side of the gym you had Sidney Lowe and some of his players (Gavin Grant, Tracy Smith and others) watching sophomore CJ Leslie and then on the other side of the gym you had Roy Williams with some of his kids (Marcus Ginard, Danny Green) watching Carolina-bound point guard Larry Drew. Also in attendance were coaches from Duke (Dawkins) Wake Forest, Virginia, Vanderbilt, East Carolina and many others. The battle between Drew and WOG's guard John Wall (#1 PG 2009 class) was fun to watch. Wall is going to be a hot ticket item for all the ACC schools.

very close game until the last couple of minutes. petey had another great game and was mvp of the tournament. east burke was able to hit alot of 3's to keep them in the game.
