Jeremy Freeman (lefty) for McDowell should have a strong year. He has already signed to play at Gardner-Webb.

Jon Sharpe is a storng arm coming up from jv for Watauga. The guy throws hard for his size and will be sitting pretty at Watauga's #2 spot with the #3 spot as a toss up between a lot of other upcoming jv's and a few other new arms.

This is the most talented Watauga team in 5-6 years. The have unbelievable chemistry as well. No one really knows who is going to beat who this year, but the Pioneers are loaded and certainly will be competitive in every game they play.

One of the things I like that Coach Hardee does each year is to schedule as tough a competition that he can find before conference games begin. They probably won't have that eye popping won/loss record, but it will make them "game tough" when the conference starts....besides you don't win championships before then.

Watagua and South Caldwell have a great friendly rivalry. Usually some of the best games to watch all year. Hardee and Parham are two great coaches and both will have their teams ready to go come conference time better yet by the season opener.

Where did that come from? I went back and read every post and couldn't find one even resembling what you are talking about.
