    Savannah Burns and Kendall Settllemeyer will definetley make an impact as i have watched those kids play with the Smokey Mtn Sting. The only fault is that one of those girls is a Duke fan!!

    We know who the duke fan is!...maybe she'll change in a few weeks! hope things are well down that way

    Another kid to watch is Megan Arrington from Waynesville. This kid can hit with the best of them. She is only a sophmore.

    Yes, Megan is another one. From what i have seen this past summer, this could be a great year for underclassmen. Looks like most of the players that i've watched from the "Sting" are going to make an impact at their respective high schools this spring...Come on February!!

    I agree with Megan Arrington. MY dd joined the Sting this fall and I HAVE NEVER seen a girl play as hard as she does. Can do it all,hit run and play the field. She should have a big impact at Tuscola this year.

    I also think HR will be a surprise. I have heard alot about the CC coach but none about the HR coach. This young lady also excelled at the Division1 level.In fact I think she holds the home run record at her school.

    All of them at one time or another over the last few years.....

    Isn't that the best way to know if a kid can play and will have an impact?
