My son will be attending this camp this coming weekend (with other players from his school, 2 days) and I was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to go down and learn whatever I can learn. He's a pitcher, 10th grade in CMS.
    Any input would be appreciated.

To Go, or Not to Go

    PhillyDave I couldn't resist I'm sorry.<G>

But let me see the choices are go watch some baseball, or stay at home and work on the Honey-do list. Okay I gave it some deep thought - I'll let you know where to stay in Columbia if you don't already have somewhere picked out. Learning something is just a bonus. :51::scooter:

You're a sick individual Yankees, but aren't we all! Pretty dam funny though. Have the lodging taken care of, but if you know of a good place to eat wings that would be great.

    I would go

Kids get some good information at these camps. But if they dont come home and put what they learn to use its kind of pointless. By going and watching you can learn alot as well. Plus its alot of fun to watch the other kids as well.

    Hooters?

That reminds me of a young man and a story at Hooters. Seems this 12u AAU team just won a big tourney in Concord. They stop by Hooters to celebrate the big win. I come in to see my son standing on a table surrounded by the Hooters girls. And he is singing "You are my sunshine". Then they all put their arms around him and he gets his picture taken with all the girls.

I still dont understand why they wouldnt let me join in?:biggrina:

By the way I still have that picture. Im keeping it in a safe place. You never know when you might need some leverage if you know what I mean!
