The Lady Blues would like to run a clinic or clinics for the younger players say 8U to 12U. This clinicor clinics would provide assistance in proper fielding, throwing, base running, outfield positioning, with actual hands-on instruction by players and coaches. Depending on the response, I would hope to have some college or x-player come and speak on the game and what may lie ahead for these wide eyed kids.
Do any of you know of a league or teams that may have interest. We would even consider coming to your area for a clinic. Locations being considered right now are Belmont Abbey, Wingate, CBC off Westinghouse in Charlotte and a location to be announced in Davidson county.
If we have one clinic it will be in the Charlotte area. Please send me a private message, post a response, or call me at 704-562-0479.
Lastly the Lady Blues will have their Showcase Day this year (2008), sometime in May, Location to be announced. It will be run by me and we expect to have a good number of college coaches that can watch the player ina very personal setting. The money will be used to help the Blues continue to attend the top tournaments in the land.
****Cheese, Mac, Ray, and others I hope this is where I should place this notice but feel free to move it elsewhere.

    Thanks

That is a good start. Kenny has said we could do a joint camp at the Abbey and bring in his college players as well. Could be a good one for the kids.

For those of you that dont know, Coach Kenny Terry from Belmont Abbey is a very knowledgable coach, dont let his youth deceive you, this young man knows the game and more important, knows how to transfer that knowledge to his players. I'm very impressed with Coach Terry and believe that his efforts will pay off this year and more so next year in his conference.
