    Freedom - 56
    AC Reynolds - 42
After last night , I see ACR as being the upset factor in the NW4A this season, don't think they are strong enough to finish second (prob 4th), but I see them as the team that may keep someone else out of that spot.
Brinkley's youth showed a little-as she allowed FHS to completely control her the second quarter. They hav NO 3rd scoring option.
For FHS- finally another Player (JasmineConnelly) came thru at a time (4thq)when Normally they look too much to Ford. Those 8 pts coupled w/Ford's shots pushed the game back into the double digits.
FHS played without starter O. Surratt, which means the other inside players did a good job.
Ford's shooting the ball good enough(22pts), having a few turnovers trying too hard to get others the ball when the slightest openings are there..
    Big win though!
Don't see anyone doing better than a split w/ MCD so that means realistically only FHS still has a shot at them even this early into the going.
Don't think SC has enough Post play to beat ACR or FHS.
EB basically has the SAME team that beat McD once last year but up to this point have given a pretty subdued effort- expect their play to pick up soon. JMHO

    Freedom over South

    Freedom--53
    South --- 34

    FreedomAli Ford-- 21
    Chelsea Connelly- 13
    Olivia Surratt- 8

    South
    Kayla Gross--14
    Allison Minton- 11

Good defensive win tonight over a Sweet 16 ranked team for Freedom! Solid team effort from several players.

I take back the comment about poor officiating in charlotte- tonight was not good at all.

East Burke is not playing well right now. I don't see them beating MHS, FHS, or Reynolds this year unless they make some major changes. I thought they would finish second in the league, but I just don't see that happening after what i saw tonight. Look forward to the FHS/MHS game next friday.
