before 007 gives me the boot from this thread, let me say this again for all to hear...Chad Flack was the best HS hitter I have ever seen. Chad Flack will be one of the best college hitters in the country again this year. There is nothing he can't accomplish:clap:

    I'm with you on that.
His two homeruns in the 8th and 9th against Alabama in the super regionals to send UNC to Omaha in '06, was the greatest clutch hitting performance since Kirk Gibson in 88.

    Completely Confused

007- What is the definition of a "thread turner". I have been acused of being a "lurker" back when I used to frequent the ACC Boards. But I'm sure I don't know what a thread turner is.
However, anytime I can be mentioned in the same breath as Braves, well that's a special day.
    Always a pleasure.

Captain, oh captain...ok let's say you and I are are having a perfectly nice conversation about pitch counts, when a passerby hears "54" and starts talking about the price of eggs in India, then another guy hears "eggs" and starts talking about his chicken farm in Wilkesboro. Meanwhile, you and I forget what we are talking about, and figure it's a good time to go get a hot dog.

Whew...I'm glad we don't do that very often on TBR.

By the way, speaking of UNC, are they ever going to build more hotels in Chapel Hill?

Speaking of motels, I've got to tell this one. I normally stay in the cheapest place I can find for a month or so on Two Notch. So, after 15 years of that my wife insists on a upgrade. Well the very first night, we get on the elevator of a "classy" place and the doors are closing, then a hand reaches in and the door opens...

Whether it comes to accomodations, parking, or merely driving through town, evidently, Chapel Hill's powers-that-be believe that every game should build character...whether one is a player or a fan! :4:

Amen to that. A trip to the Bosh=sore feet,a sunburn and spending a pile of money just to avoid de-hydration.
