    Maybe I was mistaken...

    I thought this was about how the 2008 High School teams were looking this year.

    Lets just keep it on that note. Our girls look for us to set examples. They do read these posts. Keep this in mind when posting.

    My daughter plays in the Greater Neuse Conference. We have several great teams. You can't take any one of them for granted. I am looking forward to an exciting senior year for my daughter, as is she. They all will make this a great year!

    glad to see you step in with some authority. i had heard that this was a good web page to keep up with area softball but it was starting to look like another trash and run blog site. let's talk stats and data in a positive manner

    in past years it been CC vs the world, and it usually got out of hand for a week or two. Please, not this year, it's been quite, good threads and posts in the off season. lets have a great year as hs starts to wind up.....these kids this year are killing my back, great group of freshman determined to make varsity. two hour practices are becoming three, four and i think some of them live at the school...lol.

    nice to have that......

    Our high school will not practice anymore until around Feb. 12-13 sometime. We had limited workouts, tryouts, thought we somewhat had a team/ teams then we were told no more practice until after basketball. Our girls basketball team looks to go deep into the season so softball will suffer. By looking at the schedule from the head coach it appears final tryouts on Mon.,Tues., Wed., then a preseason tourny that Sat. ??????? Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark. LOL Maybe we need to transfer to Gaston county?????LOL:MEPsychologist02HL::stirthepot:Just kidding everybody.

    Transfer questions.....

    The question of transfer has been addressed repeatedly in this post. Just out of curiosity, how many districts impose a period of lost eligibility in the the case of a transfer?
