I wish they could have thrown Southwest into the pre season mix since we are now not playing them in the regular season.

When the conference changed all our conference games we ended up with two crucial conference games on both ends of the Southwest game in the new schedule. Most likely we will see you in the playoffs.

Do you have a son that plays?

 

I do. I'd like to keep my son's name, as well as mine quiet for now since I just joined this. I do admit that the conversation here about high school baseball is extremely entertaining!!! In the future, I will give up my name. I can tell you that I'm not on the side you think one putt. Here's a hint: The ragsdale transfer from colorado has transferred again, out of the district.

As to the young man that transferred in to Ragsdale from Colorado, I'm not sure if you have all the facts. He is a jr. A good pitcher with a great curve, Good size kid who can hit. He was only at Ragsdale for a semester. The reason? He lives with a family member who works in JACKSONVILLE, NC. She has to drive that drive 4 days a week for her employment. They are moving to be closer to her work. The kid is originally from the Va. Beach area. HIs father passed away and he moved to Colo. to live with someone. He moved back here to live with an aunt. Now he has to move again to be close to her work. He's a good kid that we all wish did not have to go through this. You may want to cut the kid some slack. Just like many othet situations on here, the kid is not transferring for the reasons people imagine. BTW, he lived in the heart of the Ragsdale district and he is transferring way out of district for his aunt's work.

Some HS team at the coast is going to get a good pitcher and an awesome wrestler.

 

Thanks OnePutt...you beat me to it. A great kid that has really had a tough existence. Hope things go well for him.

 

He was actually a state champion runner-up in wrestling in Colorado. I feel bad teh kid has not been able to settle in anywhere. Hopefully he is able to establish some roots down east and find a good sports situation. The kid needs a break.

I'm extremely disapponinted by your reply post. My purpose was to tell you that I was not from Southwest, nothing to do with another post from another subject. The fact is that he will not be joining us this spring, which frankly is disaapointing in itself. You're right one-putt, he is a great baseball player and a great kid. This has nothing to do with the "tranferring" topic that people are discussing in the other thread. Nor was it my intension to discuss his life on a public post.

Now I am beginning to understand why most of the people subscribed here do not post! They just observe.

 

NPC

Mooresville vs East Rowan
Mooresville vs South Rowan...

Should be good ones. No one talks about the NPC this year but should be a good conference. Rowan teams are always strong. Don't know about West Rowan this year but I believe they will be down some, but they always are in the hunt.

Mooresville has Aubrey Meadow,L, SR (UNCC) and Chris Beaver, R, SR (Healthy) as a 1-2 punch this year. Beaver is going to play football in college and hopefully baseball so he should have a good non-pressure year. They also only lost 1 senior this year and were conference champs last year.

Lake Norman has Braun and Lamiscola back this year also.

 

Tough row to hoe. Sure hope there is a good line of family support. Did he wrestle any? Not close to it this year. Son: focusing on ball only this year. passing up a ring in wrestling. Last check Parkland was 27-0. How strong is Ragsdale this year Putt?
