    As one of the very best 09's in NC, this is a huge play for Clemson...unless he follows Mailman's lead and opts for the pros.

    Way to go Richie! Coach Legget is getting a great kid on & off the field. Its just too bad you had to go somewhere that has orange as one of its colors!:coool:

    Talked to Coach Legget about ten minutes ago... Richie had a visit yesterday and told him he was really excited about the campus and playing baseball there and its really where he wanted to be... told him he was really looking forward to playing for him and so it looks like he wont go to the draft and he is planning on playing for him. Coach was extremely excited about getting him and said it was just a great day for his entire family.

    Yes. It looks like he won't go to the draft but...........

    He hasn't been drafted yet. Being drafted has a way of changing that for some.

    Yea, especially when you are talking about a kid with two high school seasons ahead of him, being drafted early really has a way of changing things.

    I only saw Richie play twice but both times he was very impressive. He definately deserves to go to a top notch program. Way to Go!
