    Here you go

Marlin, it's Kelly's Heroes, & the positive vibes are from Donald Sutherland. Just got finished watching his son Keifer in Young Guns 2 . One of my favorites, wow, that movie is close to 20 yrs old. That's a scary thought. :tank: "Positive Vibes Dude" Can't wait for Cal trip !!

Top HS Teams in the State

Somewhere down the line I believe the truth intent of this post was lost (Top Teams in the State). Being an advent reader of TBR and not a poster I felt it was time to come on board. Please try and stick to the subject. Best 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A HS in the State is what the intent was (my opinion)to post and read about, not the mudsling, who doing who. Just an individuals opinion of who to look out for in 2008.

I didn't get over to Rutherford Co. much last year, but I think 3A R-S Central & 2A Chase & East Rutherford will do ok in their conferences this year.

    Mudslinging

I agree with the mudslinging comment but think a great deal of knowledge is shred when we let post take on their own life! Yea sometimes they get off subject but it is not always bad. There has been a ton of talk about the teams everyone thinks will be good and I think we are back there! Name your teams!

ok,time for my annual "stick my foot in my mouth thing for the Big South 3A/4A"

4A - east gaston hands down, followed by crest and ashbrook

3A - north gaston will probably be the team to beat, because they actually have an experienced pitcher and the rest of us ??????

    so, my predictions are:

north gaston and south point will be in the hunt for first followed by hunter huss with forestview in the bottom spot. however, dont turn your back on hunter huss, we have an awesome freshman class and three pitchers with a years experience in travel ball now. i could be wrong about south point, as rumor is their only experienced varsity pitcher is not playing softball this year, concentrating on rodeo.. if this is so, huss and south point should trade spots in the 3A....coach hauser from sp is a great coach, but only so much you can do without pitching.....we found this out last year and forestview will find it out this year.

South point has two other pitchers. One has been on varsity three years and the other is a freshman. So i wouldnt listen to all the rumors you hear...

Mount Pleasant will be strong at 2A

With a large returning Senior Class and several strong sophmores and juniors, team will be strong on both defense and offense. Senior Katie Reynolds will be on the mound and will do very well. Mount welcomes new coach, Craig Carter, who is already showing his talent and dedication to these young ladies and we look forward to some very positive things this year and in the future. Keep an eye on the posts and we'll see how things turn out. High School Softball is here and we wish all the teams in NC a safe and successful year. Go TIGERS...
