I think Hargrave had 8 points tonight.

McDowell has played great ball since the Freedom lose. I can't wait for the rematch in Marion.

    McDowell- 64
    ACHS- 46

The Cougars just did not play well at all tonight. ACHS couldnt get their shots to fall throughout the whole game. As mentioned before, McDowell held Ryan Hargrave to only 8 points tonight. Yes, you can credit that to the Titan defense, but also, Hargrave didnt shoot the ball well at all, neither did any of the Cougars.

    McDowell Scoring
    Petey Hausley- 22
    Terrance Kincaid- 16
    Jordan Dalton- 15
    Brian Twitty- 5

    ACHS Scoring
    Justin Mayberry- 14
    Daniel Rauscher- 12
    Ryan Hargrave- 8
    Ethan Ford- 6

Dalton carried the Titans during the first 16 minutes of tonight's game scoring all 15 of his points in the 1st half (from behind the arc). That opened things up for Hausley somewhat in the 2nd half.

South is bad, but Watauga was just killing them on the glass. So amazing that this was a 4 point game in Sawmills and a 35 point game in Boone. Hopefully WHS can keep the scoring up against FHS and MHS this week.

watauga has to play better defence with this new run and gun offence when we play better teams,so i am waiting to see how we play against freedom ,mcdowell, before i get to happy with this new offence.i am glad to see rob making some kind of change for this team.the best thing i seen was that alot of players got in the game and they seemed to love the new offence.

Soooo.... forcing 30 turnovers and out rebounding a team by almost 20 isn't good defense?

Teams are gonna score if they try to play that style...... you give up a few hoping to get more yourself......
