This is the time of year that I really start to get excited. Finish of a good week of workouts. Make sure next week we get the pitchers plenty of work in with the catchers. Make sure the guys get plenty of swings in and alot of running. And then bam its Monday Feb 11th and the season has begun.

I hope all of you enjoy the season and take every opportunity to see as many games as you can. And please post game results as soon as you get them. And if you have a little guy take him to some games. He will never forget it when he gets older.

Not only the little ones. My 71 yr old dad goes to every game with me. It's a great time.

Coach your love of the game is second to none. Hope your excitement leads to warm weather so we can all have a blast at the games.

    Yes I do

And it goes by way too fast. To me there is no better time in the year. All the hard work during the off season and now its time to play the games. There is nothing like competition and the excitement of a new season.

Gotta admit, I'm pretty excited. I love standing out in right field and just watching a little practice. I've seen our kids playing since they were 6. It's fun to watch them all on the HS field.

This is without a doubt the best time of the year. Everybody starts out in 1st place aiming for the conference championship and beyond.

For those that have seniors playing, try to slow the games down and soak in the memories because the season will be over in a blink.

    Longer Season

Unfortunately (in my opinion) the High School season is (way) too short.

I'd like to see them play a lot more than 20-25 games.

What do other states do? Florida, Georgia, Texas, California?

How many games do they play??????
