    I don't have a "dog in the fight" anymore with the boy in college... that still seems unreal! But I miss the "ping!" and everything else that comes with the start of a new season. I was thinkin' of driving over, if for no other reason than to get away from the women folk... wife, two daughters, two female dogs... the only other male in the house is a hampster, and he doesn't lend much support!

    I think Stretchy and Souther 1 said they were going over after attending the Hurricane gig at SSS yesterday. I'm betting Coach 27 will be there also.

    It was fun

    to see alot of my old friends today at ECH. Good to see you again G-Man! Glad to hear your son is doing well. Yes Stretchy and Q were there. There were around 60 players at the workout. I saw some nice looking young players at the event.

    Just got home and unloaded the car. I believe my son is going to shower and crash big time! I don't think I heard a total of 20 words on the hour and a half ride home.
    Great time and well run.

    I just got in myself from the camp and I don't blame your son. He worked hard both days. He looked good to me and I wish him the best this season.

    Andy Partin, Jason Mills and Hank Tice did a fantastic job in spite of a wet field. I bet Hank threw 500 bp pitches today. I bet he sleeps well. I got to meet Levi's dad and Grier's dad which was fun talking to them.

    Coach 27 looked like he had just got out of bed so I assume he was on TBR until the wee hours??

    Lots of talent today including Molly Jo and Tracy!!

    Ya'll all beat me home!

    And I just live 20 minutes away... maybe it was the couple of hours I spent at 4 Corners watching the UNC game over a burger and a beer!
    Great to see the "old" faces and to meet some new ones. There was definantly some talent there today. I wish the field had been drier so they could have hit on it... at least it wasn't freezing!
    Good luck to everyone as their seasons get started.

    I have a tendency to sit back at these events and watch what's going on. I guess next time I should bring a sign that says TBR so that I can start to put names and faces together. I'm really glad that I found this board, great bunch of people.

    :FOFRBanana0518HL:...yes, this board is made up of some very unique characters, but those characters are one of the reasons this board is fun....whew, I'm just glad I'm not like them :uhoh2:
