If we started a thread about Kurie and Ali there would be nothing interesting to talk about besides if they scored in the 20s or 30s that night. Trust me, right before the POY is announced that's the only names you'll hear for a while.

We talk about Klay and his staff because he thought he would step in with out camps, weight training, work outs and something other than woman to woman defense and win HELLO Won't happen so now what will he do? More of the same old same old He tried to sell the committe on his abilities without knowing anything about women's basketballs and what it takes Hope he goes back to football

you people talking about anderson must be some parents that he will not take your stuff anymore like the old coachs did,if you want watauga to win you have the coach to do it i coach aau ball in watauga,i know basketball, and andeson has forgot more than most of you will ever know.and they win in aau ball because they play weak teams, they should start playing like we do off the mtn,and agaist other aau team that are in are conference.like 18u,and my team.and if you dont want him i wish he come back to the boys progarm,i wished my son could play bball for him.and you have to have some good players i dont care who the coach is

I don't know exactly who you are (but I think I have a good idea), but I coached several of the girls AAU/YBOA teams in Watauga County over the past 7 years. I can tell you that we have played our share of quality teams. We play every year in the Mt. Airy Madness Tournament (the largest girls tournament in the southeast), the regional tournaments, state tournaments, and for the last 2 years the NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. The only tournaments that we play in around here is the Mitchell tournament and the Boone Tournament. And the Boone Tournament attracts very good teams. I don't know that any of our teams in the past have finished with a losing record or with out winning a couple tournaments.

Two years ago, when I took the girls that are at the HS to the National Tournament (which we finished 9th out of 29 teams), there were representatives from ACR, McDowell, South Caldwell, East Burke, and Freedom at the Nationals. Our confernce was represented very well. And most of the other aau programs pull from surrounding counties or areas that are 10x the size of Watauga. I think it is a heck of an accomplishment just to go to a tournament like Nationals and compete with these teams.

So before you get on here running your mouth about how the aau teams win games because of the schedule, you need to get your facts straight. I dare say that you want to compare our strength of schedule and accomplishments to yours.

I think that's enough of the bashing of coaches, players and the program in general...end of story.
