This was a fun game to watch. Shuffler had his usual 24 points. Smith and Boughman had 17 each. Boughman did a great job defensively on Green when East Burke was in man defense. If Watauga gets a few bugs worked out they may be the surprise team in the conference tournament.

 

Boughman has really come on the last few games. Where has he been all year. I didn't see him play many minutes at McDowell and From what I was told by some of the EB fans he wasn't playing a lot in other games.

 

I think the Freedom fans need to give Alexander Central some credit with this win. Last game, most everyone was saying that if Kincaid had played, they win easy. Well, he played in last nights game and ACHS upset them again. Give the kid credit, though, he is a great player.

 

I wouldnt really say that ACHS "upset" them and def. wouldnt say "upset" them again. I mean it really wasnt a upset the first time or the second time

 

I didnt mean any disrespect in that post i was just saying Ethan played a great game. and AC deserves alot of credit they took freedom out of there game. I really hope we play them again just because both games have been really good.

Looks like the cougars are back again Ryan had another stellar night and looks like the ac bench is back as well. raushcer fortner and fisher all played great off the bench if ac keeps this up theyll make a run for the nw4a crown.
aslo see if justin mayberry can play up to the level he played at friday

well the game tuesday at ac should be a good one with watauga comin down the mountain...and the game friday against south on senior night...hopefully the fans will come and those games because i feel they have the potential to be great games...

 

Did you mean a run for the title next year because if u didnt even if the top three teams lose the rest of their games and AC doesnt they will still ony be in third or fourth. Not taking a crack at the cougars just stating a fact

why cant AC make a run at the conference theyve beat #1 seed freedom twice already..coulda beat eastburke in ot an as long as dockery guards kincaid an fortner/hargrave are physcial with hausley then ac will be fine.Mcdowell is the only team that causes a promblem for AC but i thnk they can stop petey.
