Folks this nasty bug that is going around please don't take it lightly !! Fever and chills:cold: that last about 5 days, then the nasty coughing. I'm on my 3rd week of coughing,:1zhelp:and I went to the Urgent Care Unit last night finally, because of tightness in my chest and throat. I was diagnosed with bronchitis a secondary infection from the virus that I had 3 weeks ago. I have coughed so much that I couldn't sleep for over a week. Next step would have been pneumonia ,that said anything that last over 7 days please get yourself checked. After I left the Urgent Care last night I felt as though I needed to go home and take a shower :bath:with all the coughing sickness in the waiting area.......IT WAS NASTY !!! The Guru is now on 10 days of antibiotics, hopefully this will fix this nasty bug !!!

It's racing through my work and our team

I know what you mean Guru.

This virus started making its round about 5 weeks ago here at work. For four people it turned into pneumonia mid second week and 2 got off lucky with bronchitis. All dozen people that have had it, have been coughing and wheezing at LEAST 3 weeks.

Our TB team started its round with the virus about 2 weeks ago. First the coach, then his daughter, now 2 of the players. Practice was called last weekend because Coach was simply too sick to come out to the field.

Use care folks. This is a really really vicious one out there.

I had bronchitis about 6 years ago that turned into a mild bout with pneumonia. Worst sick I ever had. Lots of sick kids in the schools right now. Like Guru said, don;t take it lightly and wait too late to make the doctor visit. I think this stuff take a step change to the worse every couple of years.

    batting .368....

I had 7 out of 19 out with this mess last week....

.368 is a pretty good batting average....
