    weather held

    Weather held, so tryouts started today. 23 out on the field - still 3 in basketball and 2 at drivers ed - so we are looking at at least 28 trying out. Rain on forecast for tomorrow, so we will resume on Thursday. :)

    How about LaMeisha and Holly? A relative told me Meisha may not play this year.....I hope she does, great kid/slapper with speed. She can cover ground also! I need to see Ghostrider about those houses for sale over the summer....LOL

    Update

    LaMeisha and Holly both are playing. Only had 9 at try-outs but have 5 girls from basketball that are playing. We had to cancel tournament at Freedom this weekend because we don't have enough players. We will be at Kings Mt. the following weekend.

    Plenty of houses over here in the Hickory and St. Stephens area for sale.

    Had about 30 girls come out on Monday. Varsity set at 13, only lost 1 starter from 4th round playoff team last year. Good freshman class. JV will have to trim numbers.

    30?.....nice turnout......

    ....for the Trojans! Hey TBR, this team has legit talent and coaches. Watch for a real showdown between Garner and West Johnston! Both of these schools will have a shot to be the 4A state champs. Its a good thing that they are in the same conference.lol.

    Has a pre-season poll come out for the different classifications? Who does this? TBR has experience in doing this (We help with the HS baseball selections) and it can be a real pain getting all the information needed in a timely fashion......but with all the knowledgeable people on this board we can help with that.
