This one really got my attention.

If McNamee is lying why does he keep adding more and more to the story...................more that would be even harder to prove?

 

Oh, this is getting so good. Pettitte apparently told Congress that Clemens admitted HGH use in 2000 but then said in 2005 that he was actually talking about his WIFE taking HGH. How low can you go to protect your image than to let your wife take the fall. And one thing is for sure, McNamara certainly could tell the difference between Roger's butt and that of Ms. Clemens.

 

I hope so, but if not, Stretchy has volunteered to check

Its obvious that I think Clemens is guilty. But the thing that has bothered me is how the guy could risk going to jail for purjery over this whole thing. A guy on Rome is Burning finally explained it to me. He said that Roger Clemens' relationship with his boys is the single most important thing in his life. Now that much of what he has accomplished my be deemed a fraud, he will do ANYTHING to keep from admitting that to them. That makes sense to me. He is hoping for an OJ-like miracle.

I guess we should have a clearer picture after today. I wish it was a grand jury instead, Marion Jones proved you don't lie to those guys, but a Congressional Hearing?....nothing will happen
