Good to see that Southern01 and Coach27 have been taking notes from the King of the Sandbaggers ---Braves!

 

I'm hurt....again

 

CPC has 3 in top 10. Nobody is really the favorite this season. Fun times ahead!

 

The King sits on his TBR throne

a person is sandbagging when he purposely competes in a lower class than he should because he is either scared of competition and/or wants to earn some easy tournament trophy

 

Last years polls

Had SC ranked #1 and they indeed won the State Title. In 3A CB Aycock was #2 in the first poll and they won the 3A title. In 2A North Lenoir was #1 and ER was #2. They met in the finals with ER winning the state title in 2A. In 1A Princeton was preseason #1 and they won the state title.

Last seasons poll turned out to be pretty accurate with 2-4 finishing #1 and #2 in 2A winning the state title over the preseason #1 team. In 3A #2 won the state title.

This should one great day of HS baseball. The US Olympic complex in Cary is an awesome facility.

 

Polls are fun....keep that in mind. Now, having said that, AK is going to have a tough roll at the beginning of the season with many players playing on a playoff basketball team.

The only player AK has out is Jordan Darnell. Looking at the basketball playoffs if they lose first round he will only miss scrimmages, West Meck, Parkwood, and possibly Watagua.
