    Berry (3-17) at W. Meck (10-9) 7:00

    Wednesday (at Charlotte Catholic):


    Charlotte Catholic (19-5) vs. Garinger/Waddell winner
    Berry/W. Meck winner vs. Olympic/Harding winner.

    With Smithfield-Selma, Holly Springs, and Knightdale all tied for the 5th and final playoff spot, if they all lost in the first round, who would get the final spot?

    I Am Pretty Sure That They are Locked in at Their Seed

    I know one of the parents on the Smithfield-Selma team and I will call him tomorrow. Either way, the fifth seed goes to Wakefield in the opening round of the state playoffs. Wakefield has played Knightdale and Holly Springs this year twice each and according to the N&O stats the results were all over 40 points.
