The titans have OUTSTANDING pitching this yea you they have

SP CF--Justin Johnson 86 88 consistant can pump it up there (senior) RHP
SP LF-- Jeremy Freeman 82 85 consistant(senior) LHP
SP RF-- Josh Thompson 80 83 Consistant(junior) RHP
SP -- Justin O'Dear 78 82 consistant (sophmore) LHP
Freeman and Johnson can both Pump it up when needed

 

The Elvis Costello school of pitching says, Pump it when you really don't need to, but other than that, I hear what you are saying.
I don't recall J Johnson pitching in 07, but I think I remember him as a very good P/SS earlier.
Did he have an arm injury ?
I'll also add that when Jeremy Freeman is commanding his curveball, McDowell can beat any team in NC.

 

Yes, Justin Johnson Had a shoulder Injury last season but he is 100% He played summer baseball with the team out of asheville called The Diamond Mine alongside Jeremy Freeman Where both signed scolarships Freeman to Gardner Webb and Johnson to Spartanburg Methodist . Freeman can beat anyone when he has command of his curve but now freeman has a 3rd pitch to his fastball and curve to make him even more dominate so watch out for McDowell they will be the suprise team this year

 

The Titan Baseball team is missing some key players who are still playing basketball. Could be some time until they have their full compliment of players.

 

What position does Eli Miller play? It may be a few weeks before he gets out on the field.

 

He plays shortstop.

Tyler Hopkins 78 83 consistant (sophmore) RHP
Eli Miller 76 80 consistant (sophmore) RHP. he didn't throw any last year, but he throw some in fall ball and did pretty good.

 

Tyler Hopkins only throws about 76 78 he has never hit 80 he might by his senior year but he is a good third baseman he make the impossible catches and makes the easyones hard

 

My fault. I heard he hit 80 82 a couple times in American Legion this year.

 

How did the scrimmage with Patton turn out? Heard you guys played well?
