Did you notice that dribbles {Rob Ford} went over to the student section during the boys game and took away all the signs the students had made cheering their teams on. I didn't see anything offensive wrote on them did you? What gives there.

there was nothing offensive on it but there is a state rule on having signs and posters during tournament play.i know it does sound crazy but it is a rule.the signs were giving back though i think.I think the state having that rule is stupid but for some reason they have it.I really didnt know about till i read the state handbook back a while back.

Alexander Central students had 5 or more poster board signs throughout the game. Did he take theirs also.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know about that new rule. By the way it was good to meet you after the game and shake your paw. Although we may be fierce competitors when our teams play I enjoy talking with you after the battle. Good luck to your lady patriots through the playoffs.

Actually now that I think about it...I only remember seeing them before the Half...of course AC would have been on that end of the floor in the 2nd half so there would be no need for the AC students to hold them up....oh well, I actually thought it was a rule myself.....seems to me the Refs should be in charge of policing that.

You would think so. I have seen the McDowell fans hold up signs at times this year. Maybe that's why the crowds have fallen off at some of the schools. Sometimes you need to let the kids just have fun.:REDanceBanana008:

Personally i think it should be ok to hold signs as long as it aint offensive or degoratory towards an opposing player or team.I remember when I was a student at freedom we would have signs for every game and hold them.
