The Girls Sectionals will run on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule with 1st and 2nd round games at the higher seed at 7 pm. Sectional finals will occur on Friday Feb 29, 7pm at the higher seed or at 6:30 and 8 pm if played at a neutral site.

Okay, thoughts and analysis welcome...Where's Billy Packer when you need him? lol.

 

In a few ways the bracket is shocking.Freedom seems to have a tough bracket,having to possibly go to butler should they win monday night.South caldwell may have an easiest game playing garinger.no offense intended toward the spartans.Im also shocked they put conference teams agianst each other as well.

Sectional #3 Looks like possibly one of the toughest in the state.You have three teams with one loss between them.any of those three could win the state.

I will have 2a and 1a up later tonight.

 

Section 3 of the 3A West Region...Hickory, Forestview, TC Roberson?

That may be the 3 best 3A teams in the bracket all in one sectional.

 

I was kinda suprised my self when i saw it.3 potential state champions in one bracket.Ive seen TC roberson play twice this year and seen Forestview as well.Between those two I would say forestview is better.Nothing agianst hickory they are good but they are head and shoulders above every one in their conferernce.I think their closest margin of victory was 20.
