Couple of young'uns stepping up a little for the Lady Titans in Gellman and Ward. The run will continue if they continue to produce like that.

Wakefield is walking all over everyone. I don't know if anyone can hang with them or not. But you never know!

    West Charlotte vs Butler

    West Charlotte - 54
    Butler - 53

Overtime victory for West Charlotte. Trailing by 2, West Charlotte hit a 3 pointer with 7 seconds left. Get turnover on inbounds play - game over.

    Awesome effort by the Bulldogs!

This was the best team effort I have seen all year long from the McDowell girls. I thought the entire team elevated their game when Kurie got in early foul trouble. The sophomores in particular showed their potential tonight. I thought Ebonique played her most inspired half of the entire season in the second half. And Kelsea Greene did her usual masterful job at getting the ball to our scorers and her play on the defensive end. For the three senior to have played their last ever game in the friendly confines of Titan Gym, they went out on a very high note. I also thought the Lady Titans fed off the very vocal crowd tonight. Not that I didn't expect it, but big props to those who showed up tonight, I think we all showed just how big a home court advantage McDowell has.

Congrats to East Meck on a well played game. I've thought going into the season that they were the 2nd best Charlotte team and I still feel that way after tonight. They left it all on the court, definintely nothing that they should feel bad about.

Agreeing with bigdan, that was totally different from the other night. The crowd, the effort, getting up and down the court, everything. I think you made a good point about Kelsea. Her defense on #44 was very big because Kurie was in foul trouble, and it was good to see Ward launch a few 3's!

3rd best Charlotte team behind West Charlotte and Butler. Spencer, the East Meck guard is quite a player!
