    "Scoop" Stretchy...

... the "Harry Carey" of North Carolina High School baseball. While I was there, he was really "workin" the venue!
It was good to see some old friends and "One Putt", it was great meeting you. Keep Hugh straight... if possible!

Coach 27, makes one proud to have someone like yourself give up such compliments to the JHR program. Coming from you, thats high praise you are handing out. I couldn't agree with you more and we feel fortunate to have the programs in place (from tee ball, Little League, middle school, Babe Ruth, Freshman team and JV) that get these kids playing and learning from an early age. By the time RV gets a hold of them, they are ready for him to tweak.

I hear great things about you as a coach and your program and your compliments reflect a classy and well run program. Good luck this year and in all the years to come!

    The Best

NOBODY does this better than Greenville and Coach RV really knows all the kids regardless of age.

LOL, if no one has any comments then that means they did their jobs, were invisible, and not involved in the outcome of any games.

...and if that's the case, I would say they were perfect and for Stretchy to give them a raise :REDanceBanana008::REDanceBanana008:

If any are, just send me their names in a PM so I can convince them to move west and be Mudcat's buddies. I offer all the hot dogs or BBQ sandwiches they can eat at each game.

I did come by but your game was on and our team went to lunch. Chris Maness was going to introduce us. I'll get your address. I got something for you. I did not realize you had 2 games. Are you ever around King?

Good to meet Souther1, Stretchlon, G-man and AP. There's a bunch of nice people here. Everyone is always willing to help each other.

we will definitely meet up over the course of this hs season. It was great to see the GMan today. He is truly a class act and he loves the game of baseball. Its always great to see old friends at the ballpark. The great thing about an event like this is you get the chance to meet so many friends. I would love to see this thing become a three day event with a tournement format. But one thing for sure it it was a very good event with alot of very good teams and players.

Let me just add this about Coach R Vincent of JH Rose. The guy has won about a million games and several state titles. He has no ego. He has probaly forgot more baseball than I will ever know. He doesnt over coach his guys he puts them out there and he lets them play. They play hard and they play the right way. I hate to lose as much or more than anyone I know. But if Im going to lose a game it sure doesnt hurt as much when you lose to a guy with his class and respect for the game. You can bet everytime I get the chance to sit down with him like I did this summer I will do just that and I will do alot more listening than I will talking.
