    Well Before yesterday I would have thought Watagua was a big threat but they lost to Mt. Tabor 10-1. Now I wonder if they are as good as I first thought they were. I'm sure they will bring their A game to Sawmills but they sre going to get Messer and a group of guys hitting much much better than I imagined they would. So far SC hasn't hd to play a 7 inning game but they will have a test Thursday in Hibriten.

    Weather permitting they will be back at Mt Tabor Wed.3/5/08 due to wet field in Boone

    Now reporter, you know I am a big SC fan, but I have watched Watauga play a couple of times and they are the real deal. There is no explanation for the Mt Tabor game other than Batt's shoved it. But The Pioneer Posse has been waiting for this game for a year.

    I'm really trying hard not to overhype this game, but Sawmillville will see a very different team Friday than Mt Tabor saw. They will be emotional, focused and very dangerous.

    On the other hand, SC has the Bleacher Bums (I'm an honorary member), Superman in Jimmy Messer and big, bad Brad.

    The way I see this game it stars Jimmy Messer as Superman of Sawmillville vs Lex Luther's Kryptonite from Watauga. Lex is wanting to come and destroy Superman, scoop up Lana Lane and take her back home to Boone.

    I'm tellin' ya, forget about the past games, who played who, what teams were tougher, yada, yada, yada. This game will be unbelievable. It will be played in a playoff atmosphere. If the SC fans don't turn out for this one early....shame on you!!!!!

    Braves . For the record; I was in NO WAY dissing Watagua. It is just very unusual that you see a team with the potential to contend lose that badly. With that said I will still be relieved to leave Sawmills with an SC win Friday night. I'm sure Wat. won't be a push over.

    I know you weren't, but I was even more shocked that MT lost to West Wilkes. It just goes to show.....

    I'm sorry, did I say that Watauga wants to beat South Caldwell real bad...I mean reeeeeeaaaaaal bad. But don't mind me, I don't want to hype this game up.
