Pitched 7 innings and walked 1 batter and gave up 1 hit while striking out 17 batters. This is by far the best game I have ever seen him pitch and I've seen him throw a lot of baseball games!! Congrats Ryan!

    Dylan Dickens

Freshman RHP Dylan Dickens (Person) pitched 6+ innings and gave up two runs on 2 hits against powerful South Granville today!!. Had a no-hitter through 6 with 7 K's and 2 BB.

    Drew Cannon

Pitched 6 2/3 innings of 2 hit (really one because the left fielder fell down) against a top 5 team in the state for 2-A, Cedar Ridge. Probably had 6-7 K's and didn't give up an earned run. Drew has been doing it for 2 years now for Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh and gets no recognition because he doesn't light up the radar gun. Competitor.

    Maynard

was recruited primarily as a 3B lh hitter. But Im sure he will get a chance to pitch at some point and time during his career. He has been in the 88-89 range this year so far.

    JHR @ New Hanover

Freshman Austin Chiang throws no hitter, issuing only one walk with 9ks for the JV team (JHR has a Freshman team, but Chiang was invited to play up). Plenty of hitters that had a day too with multiple doubles, triples.....but with this team, that is the expectation, not the exception...

    got 2 for you guys.

    Back-to-back nights for St. Stephens

    vs Hickory, Jason McEachern - 7 IP, 5 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, 12 K (W 2-0)
vs Bunker Hill, Matt Rowe - 5 IP CG, 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, 11 K (only faced 17 batters), (won 11-0 in 5)
