Well, now you guys have done it.....I have GOT to go to a game a Central Davidson this season....and QUICK!!!!

I would LOVE to see a rowdy crowd for a high school softball game! Sounds like the coach, the team, and especially the fans are having a GREAT time and are making great efforts to support their team.

C'mon, folks....it's HIGH SCHOOL.....how long are you going to protect your precioius little DD's? Let them go and stand on their own....they'll be better for it in the long run.

As far as the inappropriate calls to the overweight girls, suggest to those DD's that they should ban the Twinkies after dinner and stay away from the buffet lines. Childhood obesity is a sad bi-product of our over-indulgent society and lazy parenting. Do the kid a favor and put her on a tread mill.

It won't be popular, but I support the Coach, the Team, the AD, and especially the Fans.....good for you guys! Its a high school, outdoor version of the Cameron Crazies!!!! Go Duke!

There's nothing smart about this guy. But,DDD, do let us know when you go so we can see what kind of "jewel" you are.

 

And this my friends is what is wrong with SOME of the younger generation these days! Parents that think it is "funny" when their kids do and say ugly remarks directing them to another human being. Parents that set these examples for our youth to follow. So sad! I really feel sorry for those kids who have this type of parent. I'd like to be at the game when you go also DDD, so please let me know when you go.

**edited to add - On second thought DDD was probably there, right in the middle of those obnoxious students..oh he may even be one of the students! If not, I once again will say I feel sorry for your children having you for a parent! Setting those "good" examples!

 

There's probably alot of us that would like to know when your going so please let us know. Just wear a hat with da on the front so we'll know who you are.

 

someone said let the right coach or parent get involved and someone would get hurt, well i may be the coach to get involved i would demand something be done, or i may take matters in my own hands, no one should ever degrade any player for any reason, they are out there doing ther best and any thing like this just makes me very mad. if the umpire or coach will not do anything well lets just say bring my skoal downtown and visit, the other coach can and should restrain the ones involved. now i believe in cheering for your team all you want but dont cheer against the other team. also keep in mind they medicate me before i go onto the ball field so something like this wont happen....just kidding

I hope one day God lets you live as an overweight person and be treated like a piece of S@&t too! I also wouldn't mind him (God) taking away your ability to speak, seeing that you clearly do not know when to shut up!
I find it EXTREMELY sad that a child would have to be raised by such a total a@#H&l*, whom apparentaly has NO RESPECT for other human beings!!
Trust me when I say, I am being as nice as I can be on this subject! I am constantly called on things I post on tbr but none of the mods have said anything to YOU!!!!! Someone has their priorities completely out of line!!!!! I sure hope you have made your mother and father, happy and proud!!!!

Wonderful post PapaBear, I for one am sorry that you even had to go through this situation just to see your GD play ball! It is a same that this world is full of EXTREMELY IMMATURE, BIG MOUTHS that DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ACT APPROPRIATE!!!! I can only hope that they are the minority and not the majority of our society!! I am appauled at the things that have been said, in support of the actions you posted of! I for one know RIGHT from WRONG and would never treat another human being with such disrespect!!!! NonPrevoked!!! I truly wonder WHAT WOULD THEIR PARENTS THINK OF THEIR BEHAVIOR!! Because if they approve then they did a really lousy job of being a parent!!!
