    Harnett Central beat South Johnson 10-4 Friday night.
    Toni Ann Williford went 3-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI to lead the Trojan offense.

    in preseason polls, i picked east gaston to be tops in our conference and go quite far, if not in raleigh in the state. primm is an excellent pitcher with a team having great offensive power and darn solid defense. lots of seniors with travel ball experience....we play them next week and it probably wont be pretty for us as we're very young...

    welcome mprimm08 to this board rocks softball forum. ladies and gentlemen, this is michelle primm, pitcher from east gaston, signed with belmont abbey for next year. extraordinary young lady and definately above average player. good catch for coach terry at belmont abbey.

    Parkland High School runs its record to 2-1 with a 15-0 win over Mount Tabor
    Parkland led by Junior Katey Beck who pitches a 1-hitter 10K 1BB
    Also goes 3-4 w/4RBI
    Morgan Myers goes 2-3 with 1HR and 3 RBI
    Victoria Cook, Meredith Pitts, and Ashley Myers all go 2-3

    On a personal note Parkland's JV team wins their 4th straight for the first time in school history (haven't had many JV teams) with a 16-10 win over Mount Tabor. Wow this bunch is a joy to coach.

    ND wins another one in SC!

    Got this report from the webmaster @ myndsports.com...

    The Wildcat Invitational moved into its second day with North Davidson and White Knoll SC playing the morning headline game.
    The Lady Knights lead by Hannah Alexander who threw 10 strikeouts defeated White Knoll, 7-2.
    The Knights had 10 hits in the game and now move on to the afternoon finale at 1:00pm to take on Chester SC.
    There is bad weather moving into the Lexington SC area, but hopefully the Lady Knights can get their last game in before it hits.

    Go get 'em Lady Knights...and thanks Phil!!!

    I hope your not refering to me. I am a big SC supporter and in no way was my comments downing SC. Do I think some changes need to be made? Absolutely. Do I still support the team? Definately!! Are you in any way involved with SC? NO! Seems like every time someone says something about the direction our team is going you always have to chime in and stir things up. We here all just want to see our team get back to where it was for many years and we have the athletes to do just that we just have to figure out how to keep them playing all 4 years and learning the game corrrectlly.
